The sensible way to price a Wegovy prescription

Wegovy Compare exists to answer one question properly: what does Wegovy actually cost in the UK, and where is it cheapest? Plenty of sites will quote you a single headline price. We think that is roughly as useful as pricing a car by its first monthly instalment — so we do the slower, more thorough job instead.

What we do

We track the published price of every Wegovy strength — 0.25 mg through to the newer 7.2 mg dose — at 24 regulated UK online pharmacies and clinics. For each provider we record the standard ongoing price, any first-month or new-customer offer, the delivery arrangements, what clinical support is included, and any current discount code. All of it goes into one dataset, and every table on this site is generated from that dataset. Prices were last checked on 4 July 2026.

Because Wegovy is taken on a rising dose ladder, we go a step further than most comparison pages: we price the whole journey. Our year-one figures combine the four step-up months with nine months at the 2.4 mg maintenance dose, which is the arithmetic that actually determines what you spend.

How we rank providers

By price, ascending. That is the whole rule. No provider can pay to move up a table. The one visual exception is clearly labelled: The Weight Clinic sits pinned at the top of our comparison table as our recommended provider — with its real prices shown — because we rate its ongoing service (monthly video reviews with a clinician, and a refund if the prescriber declines you). Below that pinned row, every provider appears in strict price order.

Who we list — and who we refuse to

Every provider in our tables is either a pharmacy registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or a clinic regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), dispensing genuine manufacturer stock against a private prescription. We do not list unregulated sellers, social-media resellers, or so-called "compounded" semaglutide products, and we would encourage you to give all three a very wide berth — buying weight-loss injections outside regulated channels is a genuine safety risk, not a bargain.

What we are not

We are not a pharmacy, a clinic, or a prescriber, and nothing here is medical advice. Wegovy (semaglutide) is a prescription-only medicine with real side effects, and whether it is right for you is a decision for a qualified prescriber. Our job ends at the price research; yours begins with an honest consultation.
